Merry Christmas, to those who LOVE Christmas, and to those who can’t stand it. To the ones who dread spending time with family because of the people who will be there, and to those who dread the time because of the people who are gone. To the party people and to the ones with social anxiety. To the ones to whom Christmas is the single day of cheer, and to the ones to whom this is the single worst day you can think of. To the ones who have no family to celebrate with at all, by choice or by circumstance.
To the military and others who will make it home this year, and to the ones who will spend their Christmas on the other side of the world. To the families who are celebrating today, and the ones who have a piece missing.
Merry Christmas, and I hope you find some measure of joy today, whatever that may mean to you.
